According to legend, after the Kurukshetra war the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva's forgiveness, and Shiva appeared in five different forms across these five Himalayan shrines — Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar and Kalpeshwar. This demanding but deeply rewarding circuit involves several short treks and is suited to pilgrims comfortable with moderate trekking at altitude.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Haridwar to Guptkashi
Pickup and drive to Guptkashi, overnight stay.
Day 2-3 – Kedarnath Darshan
Drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund, trek to Kedarnath, darshan and descend.
Day 4 – Guptkashi to Chopta
Drive to Chopta, base camp for Tungnath, overnight stay.
Day 5 – Tungnath & Chandrashila
Trek to Tungnath temple (highest Shiva shrine) and optionally Chandrashila peak.
Day 6 – Chopta to Madhyamaheshwar base
Drive to Ransi, trek towards Madhyamaheshwar temple.
Day 7 – Rudranath Trek
Drive/trek towards Sagar village and on to Rudranath temple for darshan.
Day 8 – Kalpeshwar Darshan
Drive to Urgam Valley, short trek to Kalpeshwar temple, overnight stay.
Day 9 – Departure
Drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun for your onward journey.
